SHS : Seaford Head School wins award for exceptional 2015 results
Seaford Head School has been nationally recognised for its exceptional 2015 performance by the Schools, Students and Teachers network (SSAT). Educational Outcomes data analysis from SSAT has shown that the school is in the top 20% nationally for progress made by pupils between their key stage 2 results at primary school and their key stage 4 results.
National recognition for Seaford Head SchoolSeaford Head School is delighted to have received a letter from Nick Gibb MP, Minister of State for Schools. The letter offered congratulations for the school’s excellent improvement in GCSE and equivalent results between 2013 and 2015. The school has been recognised for ‘being in the top 100 non-selective state-funded schools in England showing the greatest sustained improvement in the percentage of pupils achieving five of more A*-C grades, including English and mathematics GCSEs.’Acting Headteacher Mrs Helen Key ‘This is a wonderful recognition for the school.
