National recognition for Seaford Head School

Seaford Head School is delighted to have received a letter from Nick Gibb MP, Minister of State for Schools.  The letter offered congratulations for the school’s excellent improvement in GCSE and equivalent results between 2013 and 2015.  The school has been recognised for ‘being in the top 100 non-selective state-funded schools in England showing the greatest sustained improvement in the percentage of pupils achieving five of more A*-C grades, including English and mathematics GCSEs.’Acting Headteacher Mrs Helen Key ‘This is a wonderful recognition for the school.  The students, staff, parents and community have worked really hard to ensure that no opportunity is missed to allow young people to leave Seaford Head with the best possible opportunities for future studies and employment.’Seaford can be rightly proud of its 11-18 secondary school.
