HOUSE

SYSTEM

Since 2016 Seaford Head School’s House System has aided the development of identity and belonging, helping to strengthen the school community across the key stages. The House System also encourages teamwork, enabling students to fully understand how an individual’s success can impact upon the attainment of their house.

The icons that these houses are named after perfectly represent the ethos of our school (chosen by the school council), a set of values that we hold as important and central to our beliefs.

Upon entry to Seaford Head students are allocated to one of the aforementioned houses, being identified as such through the application of a House Colour on the school blazer(click here for more information). Students will remain in the same house during their educational journey here at Seaford Head School, with house tutor groups in Years 7-9.

Students can achieve points both inside (click here for more information) and outside of lessons, enabling them to personally increase their achievement points and also make a contribution to their house total. Houses participate in a House Competition that uses achievement points to help crown a House Champion. The battle for house supremacy is keenly fought throughout the Academic Year!

House Events (click here for more information) play a huge part in the House System at Seaford Head School, giving students the opportunity to score points for their house across academic and non-academic activities.
