Seaford Head is a very successful school, graded “Outstanding” by OFSTED (in 2017).  The school is consistently oversubscribed yet has a genuinely comprehensive intake and we have a commitment to raising standards through quality teaching and learning.  Seaford Head School opened a brand new Sixth Form Centre (S6H) in September 2014 and there is the potential for the successful candidate to be involved in some sixth form teaching.  We were also proud to receive the DfE award for being in the Top 100 non-selective schools in February 2016.

The successful candidate will assist in promoting the learning and personal development of all SEN students through in class support, withdrawal groups and other appropriate school activities.

Science Technician

We are seeking to appoint a committed and organised member of staff to join our Science Technician team and support the work of our Science Department at Seaford Head.

Our Science technicians support our Science teachers in preparing equipment for experiments, clearing away after, preparing resources for lessons, along with various other support duties.

Knowledge of Science to A-Level or previous experience in this field would be an advantage although not essential as full training will be given.

Outstanding training and progression opportunities are available within this key department at Seaford Head School.
